Privacy policy
Effective October 30, 2026. This policy covers decidehome.com, operated by Extremely Visible LLC ("we").
What we collect
- Outbound click records. When you click a provider link we record the time, the page and provider, a random click identifier, your device type, approximate region, and a one-way hash of your IP address and browser signature (we do not store the raw IP). If you arrived from an advertisement, we store the advertising platform's click identifier (for example Google's
gclid) in a first-party cookie for 30 days and attach it to the click record. This is how we are paid for referrals and how we measure which pages are useful. - Analytics. If enabled, we use privacy-configured web analytics (IP anonymization on) to count page views and understand which content helps.
- Email. If you email us we keep the correspondence to answer you and to improve the site.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information, run third-party ad networks, or require accounts. We do not collect names, addresses or payment details — ordering happens on the provider's site under the provider's privacy policy.
Sharing
Affiliate networks (primarily CJ Affiliate) receive the click identifier when you click a Partner link so that referrals can be credited; they set their own cookies and have their own policies. Our hosting and email providers (Amazon Web Services) process data on our behalf.
Cookies
First-party cookies prefixed kae_ store ad click identifiers for 30 days. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the site works without them.
Your rights
Residents of California, Washington and other states with privacy laws may request access to or deletion of personal information we hold. Email privacy@decidehome.com. Because click records are pseudonymous, include the approximate time and page of your visit so we can locate them.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date.
